(1950 Zechau-Leesen – 2021 Berlin) Untitled expressive work by Libuda, oscillating between figuration and abstraction. Libuda studied at the Academy of Graphic Arts and Book Design in Leipzig from 1973 and was a master student under Bernhard Heisig in 1978/79. He worked as an assistant at the academy in Leipzig until 1985. In 1999, he received the Fred Thiel Prize for Painting from the Berlinische Galerie, and in 2000, he was awarded the Gerhard-Altenburg Prize from the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg. Mixed media and collage on paper. Signed and dated (19)95. Dimensions 30.5 cm x 84 cm. Framed.
