

(1950 Zechau-Leesen – 2021 Berlin) Untitled expressive work by Libuda, oscillating between figuration and abstraction. Libuda studied at the Academy of Graphic Arts and Book Arts in Leipzig from 1973 and was a master student of Bernhard Heisig in 1978/79. Until 1985, he worked as an assistant at the academy in Leipzig. In 1999, he received the Fred Thiel Prize for painting from the Berlin Gallery, and in 2000, he was awarded the Gerhard Altenburg Prize by the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg.
