Kürschner, who studied painting at the HfBK Berlin with Fred Thieler from 1963 to 1968, won the Rome Prize of the Villa Massimo in 1971; from 1981 to 2007 he was a professor at the HdK Berlin, and in 1996 received the Villa Romana Prize of the Academy of Arts. Oil on canvas; on the reverse signed, titled, and dated (19)90 with location - Berlin. 60 cm x 55 cm.
