Photo frame in the Napoleon III style.
Description
Bronze, gilding. High rectangular profile with beveled edges. The edge is decorated with leaf friezes and grapevines, stylized shells, and decor in the form of hammer blows. The frame is crowned with a relief-carved wreath of laurel leaves, with vegetal vines on the sides. Supported by an adjustable mechanism on the reverse side. 41.5 cm x 29.5 cm. Image size: 20 cm x 26 cm. Large frame made of golden bronze in the Napoleon III style. France. Circa 1900.
