Kurdistan. Wool on wool, finely woven. In the turquoise inner field, three large rows of hooked diamond motifs in red and cream tones, with scattered patterns of hooked and cross motifs. Surrounding the carpet is a wide cream border with a large-scale pattern in green and orange tones. Dimensions are 246 cm x 143 cm. Antique kilim.
