Miniature round top chest
Description
An agate and brass box. Rectangular in shape, with a sliding, rounded lid. The narrow, partially profiled edge is adorned with embossed wave bands. The surface is made of polished agate in shades of violet, green, and gray. Height: 3.3 cm. Dimensions: 5.2 cm x 3 cm. A small German agate box with brass trim in the shape of a chest. German, 19th century.
