In the style of Carl Fabergé, this silver, gilded, and enameled pillbox is a work of art. Its square body has rounded corners, and on the hinged lid there is a small attached star, adorned with rose-cut diamonds on a palace-blue enameled and guilloché background in a grid pattern. Around it is a frame of black enamel with a gold profile line. The dimensions of the pillbox are approximately 2.8 cm x 2.8 cm, the height is 1.2 cm, and the weight is about 40 g. It bears the 88 standard mark and is made in Russia from gilded silver and enamel. This exquisite piece dates to the 20th century.
