On the lid is a rectangular overlaid decoration, elegantly carved with images of pink flowers on delicate enamel. The walls of the box are adorned with wave guilloché. The box stands about 1.4 cm in height and measures 8.2 cm by 5.6 cm. This exquisite piece is a Russian tortoiseshell-style box with silver framing. It bears the standard "84" hallmark and originates from Russia, dating to the first half of the 20th century.
