Description

Silver. A pear-shaped body with a lid stands on a pipe-style base, adorned with a rim, horizontally connected at the back by a hinge and fitted with a spherical handle. A spout with a curved shape and its own lid is attached at the center. The walls and lid are encircled by elegantly curved vertical lines. The handle is decorated with wooden foliage. Manufactured, tested, with the master's mark and the mark of the unknown monogrammist "ISA" (active around 1743). Weight approximately 520 grams. Height 24 cm. See Seling, 2007, No. 2347, BZ 1880. A German Baroque silver coffee pot by the unknown master "ISA" (active around 1743). Tested, verified, and made in Germany. Augsburg. 1741–1743.
