Porcelain butter dish "Mother Hen" by Kuznetsov, late 19th century
Description
Porcelain butter dish "Mother Hen" with a lid in the shape of a chicken lying on a perch and a butter container in the shape of a basket. The butter dish is in good condition, neatly painted. At the bottom, there is a blue overglaze mark "Partnership of M.S. Kuznetsov RF" under a double-headed eagle. Circa late 19th century.
