

LARGE SOVIET PORCELAIN PLATE from the Dulevo Porcelain Factory, Moscow, 1920-1923. Round, the center is adorned with the emblem of the Soviet Union, depicting a globe with a gold hammer and sickle beneath a rising sun, flanked by gold sheaves of wheat wrapped in red banners and topped with a red star. The emblem is encircled by a gold band engraved with the Russian inscription: "325 years of the unification of Ukraine and Russia." The edge of the plate is painted with a green stylized pattern of leaves and decorative elements, accented with gold details and a wavy gold rim. The underside bears a "Dulevo" mark in purple glaze. Diameter: 14 inches (35.5 cm).
