Description

On the underside, there is a cuboid body with rocaille handles. On the front and on the back, there is a landscape depicting the so-called "Teniers peasants" surrounded by trees. Partially present is wood-carved floral decoration. The polychrome painting is adorned with a wide gold lace border. There are partially present marks of the artist Johann Gottlieb Kühnle the Elder (active since 1732) or previous numbers, gold marks or numbers, as well as the crossed swords mark. Height: 7 cm. Porcelain cup and saucer with depictions of scenes from the life of the "Teniers" and wood-carved floral decoration. The artist's signature is partially present, along with various gold marks. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Circa 1735–1745.
