A pair of animal figurines
Description

The sheep stands on an oval base decorated with plastic flowers and leaves, facing either right or left. Naturalistic, curly, textured wool with partial brownish spots. Polychrome painting. Possibly the work of Peter Reinicke, 1747. Restored. Collection: sword mark. Height 10.5 cm. Length 9.5 cm - 11 cm. Compare with Albiker, "Meissen Porcelain Figurines," No. 212f. A pair of porcelain sheep figurines. Restored. There are chips. Crossed swords. Meissen. Circa 1750.
