Description
A hidden gem: a yellow painted porcelain butter/caviar dish in the shape of a sleeping ram. Russia, M.S. Kuznetsov, 1891-1917. Black overglaze painting. Twisted horns adorned with gold. The base features a double-headed eagle in blue overglaze painting, the mark of the Kuznetsov Riga factory. Both handles are broken and missing. Length 16.5 cm.
