Description

A porcelain condiment butter dish featuring a seated sheep motif. Hand-painted details on the lid and bowl, gilded horns, texturing, and glazing. A Kuznetsov porcelain mark from 1889–1917: a blue stamp with the new company name (1889) for M.S. Kuznetsov's porcelain and ceramic production. The stamp beneath the Imperial eagle reads: M. S. Kuznetsov, Moscow, circa 1890s. Dimensions: 7 inches x 3.5 inches x 4.75 inches in height.
