A group of porcelain figurines depicting a pair of lovers, surrounded by a relief-decorated border with braids that encircles the pedestal. Positioned on an elevated rocky terrain next to a post with a fluted shaft and a vase with a handle, stands a standing gardener or a seated gardener with a sculpted floral garland. At their feet sits a pair of doves, cooing to each other. On the reverse side, there is a girl sitting with a basket of flowers and a floral garland. Polychrome painting with rich gold decoration. Possibly attributed to Michel Victor Acier. Model number F 88. The vase lid is missing. Condition: chips. Marked with crossed swords. Height: 20.5 cm. Meissen. Second half of the 19th century.
