A porcelain vase made in Vienna and inspired by models from the Meissen factory. It features a rounded base, a curved body with a wide neck, and a flared rim turned outward. The domed, intricately crafted lid is barely visible from the outside. The surface of the vase is densely carved with voluminous "snowball" flowers, adorned with large blossoms, the so-called "snow spheres," interspersed with leafy, curling tendrils and fully sculpted canaries. The painting is executed in a polychrome technique, with a gilded rim. The vase bears an embossed manufacturer's number—Georg Binder. There is minor restoration; the maker’s mark with the date (1847) is impressed. Diameter: 17.5 cm. Produced by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory of Vienna, Austria, 1847.
