Two decorative round dishes with "Three Friends" Kakiemon-style decoration.
Description
Executed with a broken rim. This beautiful decoration is inspired by East Asian designs, the so-called "Three Friends" with Prunus, Bamboo, and Pine (or the "Indian Branch Pattern"). Polychrome painting in the Kakemono style with gold decoration. Mark of crossed swords and date marks. Plate diameter: 18.5 cm.
