Description

The Ollendorff serving plate features a picturesque ornament, partially executed with a translucent pattern. The decoration of the "Relief Ziragaras" model includes ears and threads in the cane. The floral decor consists of a bouquet and garlands, done in polychrome painting. Luxurious gilded embellishments. On the reverse side, the coat of arms of the Freigrafs Ollendorff is depicted. Scepter and workshop mark. Diameter: 26 cm. Provenance: From the family estate of the noble Hamburg merchants Heinrich and Albertus, Freigrafs Ollendorff. A pair of porcelain dinner plates decorated with the "1st Potsdam Service." On the reverse side, the noble coat of arms of the Hamburg Ollendorff family. Scepter and workshop mark. KPM-Berlin. Circa 1900.
