The Hutschenreuther manufactory was founded in 1814 by Carl Magnus Hutschenreuther. It was one of the first private porcelain factories in Germany, in Eger (in the lands of Northern Bavaria). After the death of Carl Magnus, in 1857, his son Lorenz continued his father's work in the German town of Selb. Later, this place became the center of porcelain production in Germany, just as Limoges is in France and Staffordshire in England. Initially, only white consumer porcelain was produced in Selb. In the 1880s, the factory established the production of well-decorated tableware and hotel porcelain. By the end of the 19th century, an art porcelain workshop was created at the factory. Today, the company "Hutschenreuther" is one of the largest porcelain factories in Germany and a very significant producer of tableware, figurines, and other porcelain items in Europe. The distinctive trademark of "Hutschenreuther" products is the "lion" mark. It is valued worldwide as a sign of very high quality. The factory is still successfully operating today, and its entry into the Rosenthal concern is further proof of the highest quality of its works.

The porcelain sculpture "Running Horses" is made with extraordinary craftsmanship and attention to detail!! The extraordinary plasticity and realism of the composition are mesmerizing, a very stylish and harmonious figurine!! As a result of display case storage, it is in perfect condition without chips or cracks.

The figurine is quite large and requires space.

Dimensions: Maximum height – 28 cm. Base dimensions 28 cm x 15 cm, maximum length of the figure – 41 cm, maximum weight – 3.5 kg.
