Reverse
The central part features the logo of the professional hockey club – the Montreal Canadiens. It consists of a Latin letter 'C' with a Latin letter 'H' inscribed within it. The central relief design on the reverse is executed in color. Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in English: at the top the country name 'CANADA', at the bottom the inscription '25 cents' and the year of mintage '2006'.
Obverse
In the center is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. In the truncation of the portrait are the Latin letters 'SB' – the artist's mark of Susanna Blunt. To the right and left of the portrait, split into two parts, is a Latin inscription: on the right - 'ELIZABETH II', on the left – 'D∙ G∙ REGINA' (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen). Below is the Latin letter 'P' – the mintmark of the Ottawa Mint. The edge of the coin is decorated with raised dots.
