    The central part features a silhouette of the Grey Cup. Below it is a fragment of an oval laced ball used in Canadian football. On the ball is the logo of the professional Canadian football team, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. On either side of the cup are inscriptions in English: on the left '25 CENTS', on the right the country name 'CANADA' and the year of issue '2012'. Along the upper edge of the coin is the inscription 'Ten-time champions' in two languages: on the left in English 'TEN-TIME CHAMPIONS', above in French 'DIX FOIS CHAMPIONS'.

    The center features a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. In the truncation of the portrait are the Latin letters 'SB' - the artist's mark for Susanna Blunt. To the right and left of the portrait, split into two parts, is the Latin inscription: on the right - 'ELIZABETH II', on the left - 'D∙ G∙ REGINA' (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen).
