    The central part features a silhouette of the Grey Cup. Below it is a fragment of an oval laced football used in Canadian football. On the ball is the logo of the professional Canadian football team, the 'Edmonton Eskimos'. On either side of the cup are inscriptions in English: on the left '25 CENTS', on the right the country name 'CANADA' and the year of issue '2012'. Along the upper rim of the coin is the inscription 'Thirteen-time champions' in two languages: on the left in English 'THIRTEEN-TIME CHAMPIONS', at the top in French 'TREIZE FOIS CHAMPIONS'.

    Centered is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. In the truncation of the portrait are the Latin letters 'SB' - the artist's mark of Susanna Blunt. To the right and left of the portrait, split into two parts, is the Latin inscription: on the right - 'ELIZABETH II', on the left - 'D∙ G∙ REGINA' (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen).
