    The central part features a silhouette of the Grey Cup. Below it is a fragment of an oval laced ball used in Canadian football. On the ball is the logo of the professional Canadian football team – the 'Hamilton Tiger-Cats'. On either side of the cup are inscriptions in English: on the left '25 CENTS', on the right the country name 'CANADA' and the year of issue '2012'. Along the upper edge of the coin is the inscription 'Fifteen-time Champions' in two languages: on the left in English 'FIFTEEN-TIME CHAMPIONS', above in French 'QUINZE FOIS CHAMPIONS'.

    The center features a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. In the truncation of the portrait are the Latin letters 'SB' – the artist's mark of Susanna Blunt. To the right and left of the portrait, split into two parts, is the Latin inscription: on the right - 'ELIZABETH II', on the left – 'D∙ G∙ REGINA' (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen).
