In the central part, within a circle, is a detail of the portrait of Her Majesty Elizabeth II by Canadian artist Phil Richards. In the background is a painting depicting Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. The central relief design on the reverse is executed in color. Along the upper edge of the coin is the inscription in English: 'CANADA', and along the lower edge - '25 CENTS' and the year of issue '2013'.
Obverse
Centered is the right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. In the truncation are the Latin letters 'SB' - the artist's mark for Susanna Blunt. Along the edge of the coin, split into two parts on the right and left, is a Latin inscription: on the right - 'ELIZABETH II', on the left - 'D∙ G∙ REGINA' (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen).
