    The central part features the artwork of painter Francisco José de Goya, depicting a nude woman. Along the edge of the coin are inscriptions in Spanish: at the top, the painting's title "MAJA DESNUDA" (The Naked Maja), at the bottom, the master's name "GOYA" (Goya), flanked on both sides by a six-pointed star.
  • Obverse
    At the top is the coat of arms of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, above it six six-pointed stars. In the center are two crossed elephant tusks. To the left of the crossing point is the metal fineness "LEY 900", to the right the year of issue "1970", at the bottom the number "250". Below the left tusk is a hexagonal frame with the number 900. Along the rim are inscriptions in Spanish: on the left and right the country name "REP. DE GUINEA EKUATORIAL" (Republic of Equatorial Guinea), at the bottom the inscription "PESETAS GUINEANAS" (Guinean Pesetas), flanked on both sides by six-pointed stars.
