    The central part features the FIFA World Cup Trophy. It depicted an octagonal cup supported by a winged goddess of victory. In the background is the 1970 championship emblem: a soccer ball. To the left and right, counter-clockwise, the flags and names in English of the countries whose national teams became world champions, landmarks of the host locations, and the years of the tournaments are depicted in sectors: 'URUGUAY 1930', 'ITALY 1934', 'ITALY 1938', 'URUGUAY 1950', 'W. GERMANY 1954', 'BRAZIL 1958', 'BRAZIL 1962', 'ENGLAND 1966'. At the top is the name by which the trophy is known, 'RIMET' (Rimet), at the bottom is the name of the match venue 'MEXICO 70'.

    At the top is the coat of arms of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. In the center are two crossed elephant tusks. To the left of the crossing point is the metal fineness 'LEY 9999', to the right is the year of minting '1970', at the bottom is the number '200'. To the right, under the cut of the tusk, is a number, to the left in an oval is the number '999.9'. Along the rim are inscriptions in Spanish: on the left and right the country name 'REP. DE GUINEA ECUATORIAL' (Republic of Equatorial Guinea), at the bottom the currency name 'PESETAS GUINEANAS' (Guinean Pesetas), flanked on both sides by six-pointed stars.
