    The central part features a portrait of the sixteenth President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, facing right. To the left is the year of his inauguration '1861', to the right the year of his death '1865'. Along the edge of the coin: at the bottom the name of the statesman in Spanish 'ABRAMO LINCOLN' (Abraham Lincoln), to the left and right are laurel branches.
  • Obverse
    At the top is the coat of arms of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. It consists of a heraldic shield depicting a silk-cotton tree (bombax), above the shield six six-pointed stars are arranged in an arc, below it the motto in Spanish 'UNIDAD PAZ Y JUSTICIA' (Unity, Peace and Justice). In the center are two crossed elephant tusks. To the left of the crossing point is the metal fineness 'LEY 9999', to the right the year of issue '1970', at the bottom the number '75'. Along the rim are inscriptions in Spanish: to the left and right the country name 'REP. DE GUINEA EKUATORIAL' (Republic of Equatorial Guinea), at the bottom the currency name 'PESETAS GUINEANAS' (Guinean Pesetas), flanked on both sides by six-pointed stars. Above the letters 'ET' in the word 'PESETAS' is an oval with the number '9999'.
