Hallmarks differ by purpose: the maker’s mark, the city mark, the assay master’s mark and the fineness mark. An object usually carries several, and they are read together. 4 collections, 2 389 records in total. The largest: Makers’ marks — 1771, City marks — 350, Assay masters’ marks — 222, Fineness marks — 46. Collections with fewer than five records are not listed separately: a page of two cards is of no use to anyone.
