(1884 Hannover - 1964 Worpswede) In the moor near Worpswede, a flat, dynamically painted landscape impression by the artist who has been based in Worpswede since 1908. He studied under Albert Weisgerber in Munich and under the influence of the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, particularly Paul Cézanne, he developed his own style characterized by interconnected color areas. Oil on cardboard. Signed. Approximately 47 cm x 65 cm. Framed.
