Exemplary work by Kádár, one of the most important Hungarian artists of the modern era, who studied with Ede Balló in Budapest from 1902 onwards. Kádár's artistically productive phase of his avant-garde work took place from 1922 to 1932 in Berlin, where he exhibited in the "Sturm" gallery as early as 1923. In addition to cubism, futurism, and constructivism, he drew particular inspiration from German expressionism. Gouache on paper.
