(1885 Jastrow - 1958 Berlin) "Autumn Berries". Original title. Painted with a soft-pastose ductus, this is an expressionistic work by the artist Haase-Jastrow. Haase-Jastrow studied in Berlin from 1903, and since 1906 at the Dresden Academy under Eugen Bracht and Oskar Zwintscher. Since 1913, Haase-Jastrow has participated in the major Berlin art exhibitions. In 1920, he received the Grand State Prize. In the 1920s, Haase-Jastrow developed an expressionistic painting style. From 1937 to 1944, he was a member of the atelier community Klosterstraße Berlin. Oil on cardboard. Signed. Titled and dated 1924 on the reverse. Dimensions: 58.5 cm x 49 cm. Framed.
