Old Kurdish Kilim

Persia. Wool on goat hair, flat woven. In the three-part aubergine or dark green inner field, there is a large diamond motif and a loose pattern of aligned rosettes. Surrounding it is a wide, multi-part ornamental border. Dimensions: 144 cm x 448 cm. This is an old Persian Kelim rug. It has some flaws.
