The original, very beautiful "Little Basket" is a candy dish and trinket box in the shape of a basket. It is made of colored overlay crystal, 100% handmade. It is produced by the renowned German manufacturer NACHTMANN in the 1970s. The NACHTMANN factory was founded in Bavaria in 1834 by Michael Nachtmann. In the early 20th century, the factory workshops relocated to Neustadt, where they are still located today. In the 1960s and 1970s, NACHTMANN became the largest producer of high-quality crystal in Germany. The NACHTMANN conglomerate had long united several subsidiary companies, including "Marc Aurel," "Katharinen Hutte," and "Spiegelau." The products of these factories were distinguished by their design and the minimization of lead oxide in the crystal content. In the early 2000s, the range of products significantly decreased. The factory switched to more economical forms, and interesting items were gradually discontinued. In 2004, Nachtmann Cristal AG shares were acquired by Riedel Glas. Although the factory continues to operate to this day, it has not been able to return to producing the same level of products as during its peak period. Therefore, any NACHTMANN products released in the 1960s and 1970s, especially those of high execution and preservation quality, automatically became objects of special attention for collectors and crystal connoisseurs, and their value increases every year.

The exclusive design and handcrafted nature of this item, along with its genuine high-quality lead crystal containing at least 24% lead oxide (PbO 24% - a global standard), allows the crystal to refract light and sparkle like precious gemstones in the sun. Its exquisite combination of transparent white and soft pink color, elegant facet cuts, and overall appearance make the "Little Basket" a beautiful decoration for the table or interior. It is multifunctional and convenient to use, suitable for serving candies, nuts, or storing various small items. It looks exceptionally good in any interior and always catches the attention of those around. The article number for this item is 1675.
