The sculptor's path in porcelain is interesting. Initially, he worked for many years at the Lieol factory, which specialized in producing toy soldiers and figures of various animals and birds for children. Since 1909, the sculptor worked at this factory, but after participating in the First World War, from 1919 he became the chief designer of the factory. Kaasman's products were very popular among German children, and in order to better create animal figures, Albert often visited the Berlin Zoo. His model of a group of cheetahs was liked so much at the Volkstedt porcelain factory that it was not only made in 1920 but is still being produced. Since then, as a freelance sculptor, the master started creating various models for the Rosenthal factory.
