[Recommended by Authorities] Poster: Samples of labels for fruit-berry and artificial mineral waters. Moscow: Pavel Wortman, 1900–1910s. 44×27.5 cm (poster), 59.3×43 cm (frame). In a frame under glass with a mat. Traces of folding and tears on the poster. The poster lists sparkling drinks (May, Raspberry, Violet, Limetta, etc.), soft drinks “Prozalut” and “Sarto,” as well as mineral waters “Selterskaya” and “Sodovaya.” Pavel Petrovich Wortman (1866–1938) was a merchant, honorary citizen, of German descent, owner of a technical office and the firm “Pavel Wortman,” and creator of the first Russian refrigerator “Eskimo.” After the revolution, he worked as an inspector at the Yenisei River Shipping Administration in Krasnoyarsk. He was executed by shooting.
