

(1841 San Paolo di Piane, near Treviso - 1898 Munich) Still Life with Fruits and Bottles of Wine Arranged on a Table. A rustic still life featuring peaches, grapes, plums, pears, and a basket, with bottles of wine and straw sleeves as their packaging. This rare, realistically painted work by the famous genre and animal painter Montezemzo stands out for its motif. Montezemzo studied at the Academy in Venice and moved to Munich in 1872, where he settled permanently. From 1874, he participated in many exhibitions, including the Munich Art Club "Glaspalast," Berlin, Bremen, and Vienna. Oil on canvas; signed; 48.5 cm x 69 cm. Original frame.
