

(1872 Munich - 1943 Seeebuck am Chiemsee) Lake Chiemsee landscape with a freer style of execution, an impressionable work by Haushofer, who primarily found his motifs in the landscapes of Lake Chiemsee and its surroundings. Haushofer exhibited at the Munich Art Society, and from 1912 participated in the annual Munich exhibitions at the Glaspalast. In 1920, he was one of the co-founders of the artist group "Die Frauenwörther," which has been exhibiting its works in the Torhalle on Frauenchiemsee since 1921.
