When Mars is near perihelion, tall, remarkable clouds appear above the Mariner Valley. The wind stretches them along the equator and drifts them westward, where they gradually dissipate. Based on the conditions in these atmospheric layers, they consist of water ice, green gas, and pink crystals. They are quite dense and cast clearly visible shadows on the surface.
Their appearance is explained by the fact that terrain irregularities disturb air currents, directing them upward. Additionally, in the morning, a fog rises above the valley, also composed of water ice crystals. The reason for this sphere is that they sprout from the dry ground like mushrooms after rainfall. Perhaps it has to do with the valley slopes being illuminated in the evening by the rays of other distant planets and stars. It is precisely these that allow something to grow on this land. h/acrylic 2020.
