(1884 Hanover - 1964 Worpswede) A flat, dynamically executed landscape sketch of a moor near Worpswede by an artist who settled in Worpswede in 1908. He studied under Albert Weisgerber in Munich and, influenced by the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, particularly Paul Cézanne, developed his own style characterized by interconnected color zones. Oil on cardboard. Signed. Approximately 47 cm x 65 cm. Framed.
