German sculptor

(Active in the second half of the 19th century) Bust of King Frederick II, known as "Old Fritz", bronze, dark patina with remnants of gilding. Profiled tin base. The depiction of Frederick II of Prussia is inspired by the famous statues of Johann Gottfried Schadow. At the bottom, attached to the base, there is a plaque with the inscription "FREDERICK THE GREAT, FOUNDER OF THE CITY IN 1784, GRATEFUL MONASTERY ZINNA 1864". Height: 22.5 cm.
