Large pill box

In the style of Carl Fabergé, this silver, gilded, and partially enameled pill box features a round, slightly convex body. The lid is adorned with an applied double-headed eagle, decorated with small rose-cut diamonds and colored stone cabochons, set against a red-brown enameled and radiating guilloché background. The linear push-button is also embellished with rose-cut diamonds. It is marked with the standard "88" hallmark and weighs approximately 125 grams. The overall dimensions are 1.8 cm in height and 7 cm in diameter. This Russian silver-gilt and enameled pill box, dating from the 20th century, is an exquisite example of craftsmanship reminiscent of Carl Fabergé.
