In the style of Carl Fabergé, this piece is made of silver, gilded, and enameled. It has a rectangular body with a hinged lid, centrally adorned with a piercing and diamond heart against a light salmon-colored enameled and guilloché-like surface with a wavy pattern. The box is decorated with a narrow beveled switch. It is dated 1888 and weighs approximately 40 grams. The dimensions are 1.2 cm in height, 3.8 cm in length, and 2.8 cm in width. This exquisite Russian pillbox is a fine example of Carl Fabergé's craftsmanship. It bears the standard "88" mark and originates from 20th-century Russia.
