Gilded silver plate

Silver, partially gilded. A shallow, smooth mirror that transitions into a wide surface covering a masterfully executed relief design and a chased background with large pomegranates, surrounded by floral branches. A finished, carved edge. Signature, master Hans Heinrich von Dort (became a master in 1689). Weight approximately 248 g. Diameter 28.7 cm.
