RUSSIAN PORCELAIN PLATE, KUZNETSOV PORCELAIN FACTORY, BUDYANSK, 1894-1917, circular form, rim with leaf decor alternating with the top of an Ionic column, cavetto with leaf garlands and a profile of a Roman gladiator in a laurel wreath, against a snow-white enamel surface, marked with a green factory mark under the base; diameter: 35 cm (13 3/4 inches). CONDITION The plate appears to be in very good original condition. Rubbing on the rim detailing, as well as minor chips. General surface scratches consistent with age and use. No signs of restoration or repair under UV light examination. Note: All lots are sold in their current condition at the time of sale.
