Description

Commemorative plaque, M. S. Kuznetsov company, early 20th century. Porcelain, large serving plate decorated with a Russian double-headed eagle with a wreath on its head, holding an orb and a sword in its claws; on its wings are Cyrillic letters and the years 1813 and 1913, likely commemorating the Russo-Persian War and the Balkan Wars; on its body is an Orthodox cross over a crescent moon, with a gold border. Blue underglaze mark. Gold border worn off. Diameter 52 cm.
