

Silver. Four stylized paws transitioning into an oval, convex body. Under the rim around the perimeter is a relief mother-of-pearl frieze, surrounded by garlands of laurel leaves. The connected, slightly curved lid is centrally decorated with a floral rosette, framed by a four-looped curved wreath of leaves and flowers. Narrow thumb rest. Gilded interior. Hallmarks, delicate strokes, master Daniel Matignon (became a master in 1763). Weight about 240 g. Height 10 cm. 14 cm x 10.8 cm.
