Small Baroque footbocker
Description

Silver, fully gilded. A round convex base transitioning into a short, strongly tapered stem and a widely flaring, slightly conical smooth cup. The base and the foot of the cup are framed by tongue-shaped gadroons. Below the wide border area, decorated with relief volute-shaped plant patterns, the interior is gilded. Workshop of master Johann Philipp Gross (became a master in 1689), hallmark for Austria, Vienna before 1824. Weight approximately 110 grams. Height 6.5 cm.
