Description

Large Russian faience tray, manufactured by the Kuznetsov Porcelain Factory, late 19th century. The center is decorated with a raised floral pattern on a pale blue background. The top of the plate is adorned with a Cyrillic inscription "Khleb i sol'" (Bread and Salt) in a Pan-Slavic style. The reverse features a raised mark of M.S. Kuznetsov in Russian and the number 682.
