

Vasily Kandinsky Soviet Suprematist porcelain plate, 9.5 inches in diameter, an example from the 20th century, modeled after the work of the famous Russian artist Vasily Kandinsky, originally created for the Moscow Dulevo Factory and the former Imperial Factory in St. Petersburg in the early 1920s; the reverse side bears a mark with Kandinsky’s name in Cyrillic, a blue hammer, sickle, and cogwheel, the date 1921, a green monogram of Nicholas II, and the year 1902; the front of the plate also features Kandinsky’s monogram and the date number 22; old label RYS SEK 900: -, good condition without chips, cracks, or restorations.
