Three porcelain plates, one of the artist's original design, two based on designs by K. Malevich. (i) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 6, Drawing by Francisco Infante, from the series of drawings "Extraction-Absorption" "A Point in Its Own Space", 1964. The plate was made in 1992, one of a series of 25 copies produced under the artist's supervision. The current design is the first of a limited edition series of plates by F. Infante, released by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the "Kuznetsov Porcelain" factory in Dulevo, with the artist's overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers. (ii) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 16, Drawing No. 4 by Francisco Infante, after K. Malevich's design "Suprematist Art", 1920. The plate was made in 1992, one of a series of 25 copies produced under the artist's supervision as part of a series of four limited edition plates by F. Infante based on Suprematist designs by K. Malevich, released by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the "Kuznetsov Porcelain" factory in Dulevo, with the artist's overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers. (iii) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 11, Drawing No. 3 by Francisco Infante, after K. Malevich's Suprematist design "18th Construction", 1915. The plate was made in 1992, one of a series of 25 copies produced under the artist's supervision as part of a series of four limited edition plates by F. Infante based on Suprematist designs by K. Malevich, released by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the "Kuznetsov Porcelain" factory in Dulevo, with the artist's overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers.
