Three porcelain plates, one of the artist's original design, two after designs by K. Malevich. (i) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 6, Drawing by Francisco Infante, from the series of drawings "Extraction-Absorption" "A Point in Its Own Space", 1964. The plate was made in 1992, one of an edition of 25 copies produced under the artist's supervision. The current design is the first of the limited-edition series of plates by F. Infante, issued by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the porcelain factory "Kuznetsov Porcelain" in Dulevo, with the artist's overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers. (ii) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 16, Drawing No. 4 by Francisco Infante, after the design by K. Malevich "Suprematist Art", 1920. The plate was made in 1992, one of an edition of 25 copies produced under the artist's supervision as part of a series of four limited-edition plates by F. Infante based on suprematist designs by K. Malevich, issued by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the porcelain factory "Kuznetsov Porcelain" in Dulevo, with the artist's overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers. (iii) The overglaze inscription in Russian on the reverse reads: No. 11, Drawing No. 3 by Francisco Infante, after the suprematist design by K. Malevich "18th Construction", 1915. The plate was made in 1992, one of an edition of 25 copies produced under the artist's supervision as part of a series of four limited-edition plates by F. Infante based on suprematist designs by K. Malevich, issued by the Center for Contemporary Art in Moscow and the porcelain factory "Kuznetsov Porcelain" in Dulevo, with the artist's overglaze signature and stamps of the production centers. Diameter of each - 24.5 cm (9 5/8 inches). (3)
